The reason Titanfall 2 isn't selling well is because EA's marketers fell asleep during the scheduling meeting and accidentally released it right next to Battlefield 1.

@alturius4: Good gears are just as important in PoE too. They provide most of your health/mana/defenses, damage (depending on your build), they can alter a lot how certain skills work, they need to be optional for skill socketing, and don't forget all the currencies you can alter them with.
Actually, there is a new map, as well as to new game modes and the ability to do random heroes and the brawl where you get extra health and fast cool downs whenever you want... so yeah, a lot of new stuff.
@Thelonius Dunk PoE is more based on skills, leveling gems and finding amazing combos with skill and support gems. Grim Dawn is more like creating an "original" skill build and supplementing it with gear, while D3 is ALL about the gear. GD supplements both with eachother (gear and spells)
The problem is TF1 didn't do that well to start with. It not only didn't deserve a sequel - it didn't need one. It simply didn't have a fan base that gave a big enough fuck to bother with shelling out cash for 'storymode'. Same problem the new Battlefront is going to have.
Nah I think you can pass on Titanfall 2. Singleplayer isnt really anything amazing or making it worth to buy that game. It surely look great visualy and some parts of missions are just stuning. But everything nice is overshadowed by bad story writing, horrid voice dub and general lack of substance.
Titanfall has so.e surprisingly high replay value on single player, but having been burned before by differences between single and multiplayer game modes in EA games, I think I'll pass on the multiplayer mode.
@Thelonius Dunk: I'd rate Grim Dawn above both D3 and PoE. But I hate the way gear and builds works in PoE. So if that's your thing...then you might not find the results to be the same.
@Thelonius Dunk: VERY close to D2 athmosphere-wise (actually, I think it's even more athmospheric due to lore notes here and there), WAY better in this regard than D3. Dunno about PoE, didn't even touch it yet so can't compare.
@Michael Leue The characters in the second panel can both fly, and have minor interaction quotes. They're a really popular ship. Third panel: a new character was just revealed who hacks things, the implication here being she changed the channel to troll.
The problem with Titanfall2 is EA thought it was an amazing idea to release their 2 biggest multiplayer focused FPS games whithin 1 week of each other. Some idiot in release scheduling really fucked up. Thats begging to cannibalize your own sales.
IMO, Titanfall2 single player was really enjoyable.
It is sadly very short, only 9 missions, took me 3 hours to complete it all, but i know i'll play it again at least, unlike some other FPS.
otherwise, i find TiF2 very nice, it has a good gameplay, very reactive and dynamic, i'm loving it.
Titanfall with a solid singleplayer? That's a new, I haven't seen a good single-player FPS in ages, and pardon the skepticism, but I don't think EA will deliver through a ex-cod studio.
I was hoping 2K would wake up, but lately they're on a shit streak. So, TL;DR, I'm back playing FEAR. XD
