I'm actually a little disappointed Hearthstone didn't do anything. Not even one free booster pack. On the other hand one of the Overwatch boxes I got for free had Widowmaker's mistletoe intro, so I can die a happy, happy man.

Gonna have to agree with everyone else on this. I can't sell my Nutcracker Zenyatta skin for a couple bucks, but the stattrak weapon I get from a tf2 or cs:go crate is worth money. And dumping 5 million keys (about 12 million dollars worth) into the market would get rough.

Maybe it's just luck, but, in my experience (almost a 100 loot boxes so far), the event loot boxes now seem to have a much greater chance of giving good loot. I got a few legendary skins (both event and normal), and I actually saw very, very few loot boxes that only had one rare (blue color) item.

You know, it's funny as I read this because some people are having the audacity to complain about Hearthstone not doing something similar. Personally, all I want is the Winterveil Tavern Brawl to come back. Tomorrow, if it is something else, I will be disappointed.

Well, Overwatch doesn't have an economy to balance. They can give a million loot boxes to someone and it wouldn't effect a thing, but if TF2 gave a million stockings to someone, its gonna make a huge dent in the economy, with shitloads of items droping down in price.

I like the backpack extension more personally. But yes, good times
