@K Dario Fuente Perez: Indeed, but there's no use in beating a dead horse; everyone knows CoD is like that, but not everyone recognizes that capcom does something similar.
@Formedras: i generally prefer xbox controller when I use a controller (or GC) but PlayStation is definitely a good choice for fighting games and final fantasy games.
Also I have SSF4 Ultra (got the upgrade when it came out) and after seeing the DLC and the TWO seasons passes for SSFV I was just like, Fuck. No. Not today CAPCOM!!!
Ill wait for a complete pack for under 30.
OMG Jo I want to add you on steam but like, I dont want to be rabid fan, because, I AM A TALKER!!! (I have you on blizzard which im rarely on and im too scared to say hi.)
A newbie should start off with a shoto character first to learn the mechanics and then work from there. Then again, fighting games aren't easy. There arw tutorials you can look up but you'll have to commit to even be decent at them.
I remember being really hyped for the game, I even bought an expensive Fighting Stick...quit after 48h. It seems that I'm too much of a scrub for this genre. After spending 15h of those 48 in the lab, I wasn't able to win ONCE lol
I thought about getting one of the Street Fighter games on sale... but then promptly remembered Capcom are assholes with the DLC and rehash spam and I'd end up having to buy the same thing 2-3 times.
I keep buying all guiltygears and blazblues on steam, and end up rarely playing them (only with just one friend, who doesn't play fighters semi-competitively since school, i.e. like 12 years now). They make clones of the same game even worse then capcom, but I can't help it T_T
