I'm half tempted but I really don't care for digital card games. I play Magic and Yugioh with my friends (fuck playing tournaments with douchebags) on the rare occasion we're craving it, but digital stuff, meh, I'd rather kill baddies with swords and guns.
I'm in the alpha group for Shardbound, and if you like CCGs Shardbound is shaping up to be a really good one! It plays more like Duelyst though, cards are minions on a deployable tactical battlefield.
Shadowverse is super cool but I'm getting seriously mad in Ranked with all those decks that just aggro you for 6 turns and then end the game with -insert class's Storm follower-.
Well, I'm glad you gave it a try Jo. It *is* close enough to HS that if you're happy with HS and deeply invested in it then there isn't much point in switching.
But it is great for people that are pissed at some of the design and business decisions HS has made and want the same game, but better.
Give up hs after the yogg randomness fiasco. Really like how little random effect in game and the thats in wont have a huge swing unlike yogg or card like brawl...
how do you get this on PC? it says on the webside it works on windows 7/8.1/10 but i only find appstore and google play download buttons

I'm a Shadowverse player. Three big things that won the game over for me:
1) Tons of free gold. Seriously enough gold for a free pack every 1-2 days, and an entire free one every 5 on top of that.
2) Evolve Mechanic.
3) Take two area style.
That's actually a really fair sounding review Jo. Now I have to check out this shadowverse game. Card games for me the two most important factors are learning curve and the art. Both reasons are why I never got into ygo
I'm playing Shadowverse. I like the style more than cartoonish HS. Also, since the game is quite new, it's better for newbies. Also, AI is pretty hardcore...
