In an age of digital downloads I can see why people would download the game on day 1 at the comfort of their homes and just buy a game-less collectors edition on the next day or week for the nice collectibles without having to pay for a copy of something they already have.

Doesn't change the fact you are still buying a Collectors Edition with no game on it.
