@chasbanner You're pretty much right on that. it's the idea of "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours." The problem of that is because when someone is owed a favor, they'll use that to its full advantage, screw the consequences and the moralities, as long as I get something.
The only situation I can think of is the Tree Spirit vs The Crones quest. Though the tree spirit wasn't anything honorable and wasn't the least interested in peace and prosperity. There's also the Asassin of Kings quest, but no way in hell Dijkstra is honorable either... Hmm
Funnily enough this is exact problem with politics in the world today. Everyone electing the guy who did them "favours" over the not-fantastically-corrupt guy

Are you talking about the quest near the end of the questline about killing Radovid, where you have to pick between Dijkstra and Roche?
That can't be SPOILER assassination quest because SPOILER2 is anything but honorable. But then I really can't guess what quest are you talking about, Jo.
