Play "Big Easy Priest". It is favored against Ramp and Jade druid, while still having a decent (if slightly unfavored) match up against Token and Aggro Druids. Mainly because Druid cannot deal with big things.

Enjoy it while it lasts. Ben Brode‏ on twitter:

Thanks for the feedback regarding Druid. We've been considering options and should have more to share this week.

Hearthstone is pretty fair when it comes to its actual pricing. 60 bucks won't get you everything, but it will get you enough to compete with, and that's not an unreasonable price to play for a game like this.

Gameplay sucks though.

I'm not so petty that I hate anyone who's better at card games, I'm just upset with Blizzard for lacking a proper matchmaking system putting me vs players of equal skill and deck quality. And the f2p gold farming for cards and dust is laughably slow and painful, just like typical freemium games...

@Elliot Fisk You can. You play games to get gold, you use gold to buy packs, you can then either pull the cards you want or dust whatever you pulled to craft the cards you want.

@Albert Johfur At least you acknowledge that you have a lack of skill. And, strangely, Hearthstone is actually pretty easy to continue as a f2p. I can reach rank 5 / Legend each season without paying.

Now, starting as a f2p? Significantly harder.

Like 50% of decks are Druid and I know mememaster Brode won't do shit about it until the next expansion.

@Albert Johfur: i dont play hearthstone, and i dont really know how it works, but it seems like if you could farm for rare cards and stuff in each release more easily, it would be a lot more fun, kind of how diablo 3 works, where you can actually farm out the items in your builds.

I simply stopped playing HS. It was no fun constantly being put against players with better skill, better cards and better luck. I've never liked card games. Unless you fork out more money than your opponent, you'll always be at a disadvantage.
