And no, paying doesn't actually give you advantage. You level up faster, get off-beat clothes, and shiny guns, but that's it.

If anything, it makes more people shoot at you.

I have to say, I don't particularly enjoy Heroes, and I'm a diehard TF2 AND BF fan.

BF:H can be a free game and people who pay always have an advantage.

BF:H looks fabulous, but they've only got servers on one half of America. I get 600 ping minimum, living in Idaho, when I get half a megabyte per second downloading L4D2 from Benelux. That's GOT to be the developer's problem.

yep, bfh is quite like tf2 with three classes and takes place during th 1940s. However, tf2 is better,although bfh is free

I tested BF:H since first closed beta and gave up on it as soon as public beta came out, The game sucked then and I have no confidence that it have gotten any better.

Battlefield Heroes sadly does not have the clothing variety as shown in the trailer linked here, for reasons beyond me, and most of it requires renting/buying (so you won't be wearing anything esoteric for free). It's one of the greatest free-to-play shooters in my opinion.

Battlefield Heroes is actually quite good in terms of gameplay, even if it is still in Open Beta. The free-to-play optional-microtransaction dealio is kinda odd, but the game itself is actually fun if you get into it.

Also, cartoony art-style isn't exactly restricted to TF2, it's more widespread.
