@Jo Pereira: When was the last you played? Biting cold was OP as hell when it hit all units, now it only hits one unit by 2. What needs a nerf now is Gold Weather and Hailstorm.
@Vode An: That seems like a bit of a weak excuse for teching. A 5/5 is still a bit difficult to deal with in a lot of classes and priests run enough dangerous minions that Dirty Rat could EASILY not hit Raza. There's enough variants of the deck that you could just be giving them an even EASIER win.
Teching against machine-gun priest? I'm genuinely curious. All I can see as a win condition against them is rushing them down before they can use the DK hero power too much. Personally, all I'm trying right now to make work is an evolve shaman deck with a very slight dragon lean with Onyxia and such
I think it's done deliberately. Game stabilises, people push their decks slowly getting better.
Release a kill deck, everyone rushes out to buy it, those without skill just to get an edge and win, those with skill because they're hooked or they just need to defend their tier position.
The thing about card games is they arent really about just playing your individual deck optimally, thats nice as first but eventually it becomes as boring as solitaire. The meta is actually what makes card games so fun because it adds the dimension of predicting your opponent's combos.
one reason i only play physical card games, that can't constantly change stats of things.
I also only play casual because of how cancerous the competition scenes are.
I can't stand players who only play what's best and not simply what they enjoy.
This is one of the many reasons why I do not like card games: because of everyone else, your own game experience has to change too. It pretty much showcase how cancerous and anti-fun the very concept of "meta" is in gaming.
