@T: A Blanket gives us hope it might slip off. It also does not have sleeves so when she works we might get a glance under the blanket. For all other images it might as well be the same thing.
Actually, Elite Dangerous would be right up Jane's alley. The combat's the best part and it's pretty stale. If you ever get a fight a human they just combat log if they're losing. But SC's lookin' REAL good of late...
I couldn't stand Elite Dangerous. It felt like mechwarrior in space and that's not what I want in a space game. I expect my spacecraft to function like a god damned jet.
"if you always wanted to feel like it would be to explore space" Rebel Galaxy does the same and it's pretty friendly too. I'd reccommend to anyone who doesn't want to face the steep learning curve of a sim-like game.
My roommate has a Vive. Elite Dangerous VR is one of the best experiences for it, but it's not perfect, either. It's good enough I bought the deluxe version for myself rather than just gEttinger the dlc on his account.
It put me off from the game and I havent really touched it since. I kept in touch with the community tho and have been following the major happenings ingame.
Even 2 years later I have traveled abroad to Frontier Expo this year to represent my playergroup and to meet ingame friends.
.part 3
ED was a big part of my life in it's first year and I made quite some online(and now IRL) connections through it. I was fully immersed. I experienced all ED has to offer but I refused to grind even one bit. Around the time the first expansion hit, Horizons, the grind increased exponentially. .part 2
ED is a great experience, but a mediocre game at best.
It's great for quite some time, the world feels alive if you seek out companions to fly with and engage a bit in some community things.
But... Then the meat of the game shows it fangs, which unfortunately is grind.
.part1
It is, without a single doubt, the absolute best VR experience in existence, especially with a flight stick. It's hard to even describe how perfect it is.
"Flight Simulator in space, with guns." That sounds more like Kerbal Space Program with weapons than like good old Elite. Do you need to make orbital calculations for ED?
Check out Star Citizen. It's going to be similar to Elite Dangerous but if Devs deliver then it will be a lot better. Right now it may not be interesting because it is in testing and ships cost real money but the full launch is something to look forward to.
I've been wanting to try ED but I'm not sure if I'd like it, really wish there was a trial or demo of sorts, even if it's just getting into your ship and doing some kind of closed off tutorial
