A automated health-testing machine I found in a pharmacy once asked if I was an "athlete", and defined the term as "10 hours exercise a week". Makes me wonder what qualifies as "exercise".
@Snoipah: I realize what you're getting at, but this is Anne-Marie we're talking about here. She'll use any tactic to try and influence Morgan, including the possibility of losing Jane to a "better" rival. Hence why that one key phrase won Morgan over to Anne's side in the upcoming battle. :)
@Carl de Malmanche: You're getting that mixed up. You're thinking about ghrelin, not leptin. Leptin makes you less hungry. Ghrelin makes you more hungry.
So if you want to get fit and lose weight, increase fluids and fight the cravings for a couple of months, then the body will adjust and not crave the bad stuff so strongly. It is chemical, and it does pass, so resist!
re: exercise. just a useful thing to know: doing exercise burns energy, if that energy comes from stored cells the body releases a hormone called "leptin".It's designed to make you crave food to replace energy you're burning off. If you unfit and exercise you crave lots of high calorie food.
