i've given up faith on ever completely my backlog. it's not just games.
it's movies, and anime, and books. pc games, console games, portable games. and then I like to just go outside and explore nature! XD
hey jo try elona + the graphic may look from rpgmaker but the content is gold.
also its free !
also i recommend dominions 5 if you want to feel like fantasy mythology God wage war with other God.
... or finally trying Shroud of the Avatar, which I backed on Kickstarter years ago and haven't really even tried yet for lack of time. A backlog really lowers my willingness to purchase anything new. Steam's steep discounts do the rest.
I can relate to the backlog thing. I bought Kingdom Come Deliverance last weekend, but I'll probably refund it on the basis of "when the f*** am I even going to play such a long game?", even though it does look promising – but so does finally finishing Steam World Heist, Valkyria Chronicles, ...

Regarding Iron Man Mode: Personally, IMM is really what sells Into The Breach for me. I've never been fond of "save scumming," prefering to live with the consequences of a poor decision, but combining IMM with a single reset turn per map really amps up the tactical feel for me. (cont...)
