So it just dawned on me: for so long I was used to seeing photo-notes about hidden Spy(s) and it struck something of an odd chord with me now, realizing I probably haven't read those things in years now. When did it stop? It was a fun quirk to look forward to, regardless of the shift away from TF2.
His opening arc should be Victoria bringing him with her to the bar to show off to the girls (namely Anne), him turning out to need a job and asking for work, and then Victoria objecting until she sees him in uniform.
Then again, nerf now! is about comic relief and it's not like you need many characters for that. It's not a story-driven comic and already has more than enough masks. What would a new one add? Which role would it fill?
I don't mind having a male character, but I honestly don't like Brian's design much- it has the same Valve-corp face Jo is used to draw. So, maybe a different and more intriguing male character? Sure.
the April fools joke would actually be a good idea, if for nothing else, it gives a real personality to the potential straight 'man' needed for some jokes. Hell it would be funny if when the girls are in the male style outfit, he's in it female equivalent.
i voted no, because as you pointed out, more faces means less time for everyone else. less time for everyone else means less time for alek. we can't have that. we're just starting to see more of her!
If we got a new male barman, do not forget he need get lewd costume like the girls... no exception! I expect to see him in (female) bunny costum with nylon socks. AllNerfNowFans/10 will add mine in Photo Notes.
and as far as adding a guy I mainly come here for when it gets lewd so unless the guy opens the chance of the comic going full NSFW somehow i'm voting a hard no
You can find some of the other engie comics here just be warned that there is nsfw stuff together http://tbib.org/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=captain_%28artist%29+team_fortress_2+
Just reminding everyone again that the long hair engie belongs to Jo's friend. Jo decided to stop using other people's characters as part of the main cast. Sadly the original creator also doesn't uses the character anymore.
The question is "Do you want a guy in Nerf NOW!!?" so officially there still isn't a guy in Nerf Now!! meaning that Tentajo is not a guy either because he is not human or because he is a girl tentacle.
