It's just that you can see the potential and what they did with it. The game is combat only and horrible story bits in between. City is not atmospheric at all. You had better atmosphere in 15 year old games, this should improve over time.
They ruined them by not letting you have romances, that's half the fun of Bioware games :/ I can go a million other places for my generic futuristic shooter needs.
I have a distinctively ominous feeling that Anthem is going to die and Bioware right along with it. Mind you. It gives me no joy to think of it dying. I loved games like Baldur's Gate, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and many others... But things look bleak for them right now.
