I admit it, I've been playing Classic for a few days now. It's fun. Maybe because BfA got stale, maybe because there's a challenge, maybe it's nostaligia, maybe that its people actually grouping and being sociable ingame, something you dont see a lot of in modern WoW. Also, I like both Engie-tans.
Granted, gem slots were introduced in TBC but it was fine, is what I'm getting at. Classic WoW is fine with just enchantments on gear. The secondary, temporary buffs are mostly inconsequential anyway due to being stupidly difficult to co-ordinate to peak efficiency or crutches to fill the gaps.
Hey, I'd be alongside those folks if my computer was still supported. The literal endless grind for a fraction of a percentile boost in combat stats outside of gear upgrades drove me absolutely livid in Legion. Gear, gear enchantments, and gems should have been the extent of combat stat progression.
