Paul Richeson, I'm more concerned that AI's will be 'so smart' that they come to the conclusion that humans too much of a threat to consider saving, so they are subtly and systematically making us destroy ourselves while creating a world perfectly suitable for AI to inhabit.
I assume it ends up like with Asimov's work where the AIs take over simply because they're GOOD at running the show, so no one noticed. And, if they're as cute as our favorite mechanic here, they likely aren't going to care, even if they DO figure out the game.
