Somehow it makes sense that Invoker would be "gluten free".

Make sure you're playing with Veteran mode turned on, as it ups the difficulty of the 'normal' setting.

Also Act 1 isnt super difficult, theres an achievement to beat it under level 11 even.

End of Act 2 is where stuff starts getting serious.

40k Martyr is decent if youre into rogue likes. Last I played it was still very barebones though. Enemy variety is Cultists, Word Bearers Marines, Nurgle Daemons and Rogue Guard. Weapon variety is ok, except some weapons are completely frigging useless

As a seasoned Grim Dawn player, I'd say I don't see anything wrong with a slower paced gameplay. After the sanic freakshow Path of Exile was for me, GD is a solid middle ground, especially if you're playing on Elite onwards. Warden is just the beginning. :)
