Im in love with the setting more than anything. Its the open world of my dreams to explore a sci-fi city. The story could be completely terrible but id still get it just to explore. I know what I want out of the game and nothing so far has shown it wont live up to what I want.
@God Emperor Trump:
Probably not. So far every journo, both "professional" and the YouTube variety, have been raving about the game, so it's likely going to be really good. The question is not that, but whether it's going to be good enough to live up to the hype surrounding it.
@God Emperor Trump
I don't really see this one going in that direction. If we're pushing back the release in terms of months than it isn't nearly as bad as Duke Nukem and is likely close to the finish line. That said I agree that it isn't really a game I'm interested in.
It will probably get the Duke Numen Forever treatment. Massively hyped up for years, but an absolute failure/disappointment when it actually releases, and then shelfed away to be used as a meme for years after. I was never hyped for it, never will, probably won't even pick it up.
@Dorian Nest Valgav , I sure do hope it's not anything like Mass Effect. That series went, unfortunately, to the eternal hall of infamy. It was great up until 3.
@Dorian Nest Valgav
Trilogy? Remember how that ended? Isn't that aiming too low? I'm just hoping for better than Witcher 1. Maybe even something friendly to left handed players...
AS long as it can deliver a Mass Effect trilogy type of experience, I'm more than ok. That's my hype, it's not much considering I'm asking to top a 10+ year old series
Yeah I use to think the same thing when I worked Fast Food.
We're getting a new (Insert Item Here), I can't wait to try it.
(One month later)
I was excited for this?
Hmm. I dunno about this comparison. After all, the game will have full frontal nudity right out the gate. As in, in character creation. But yeah, I get what you mean to say.
Here's the problem, the game will not live up to the hype. It took to long to come out. So even if it does everything right, the expectations are cartoonish high.
