...whyever would you *want* a cutscene? Just a quick fade to black with some techy noises in the background would be all you'd need. You can't possibly want to sit through something a minute long everytime you swap your mods.
It's missing the 8 hour surgery, the dialogue about recovery afterwards, and then the subsequent bill for medical services when you flatlined halfway through.
Complaining about no cutscene for each time you get a new cyberimplant is pushing it a little, these are the kinds of nitpicks that ultimately hurt the many legitimate critiques that you can make about the game in its released state vs what they promised. However, the fact NO IMPLANTS ARE VISIBLE...
You would be tired of it by the third time having to sit through that cutscene, and absolutely infuriated the eighth time you need to upgrade. Devs know what they're doing.
To be fair, maybe having a cutscene for every new thing that was installed in you would be too much, so they decided to just skip it... i mean, i don't remember very well, but i think Deus Ex:HR also doesn't have cutscenes for implants and such, no?
Also an advantage: No voice acting. I find that many games suffer for it, e.g. the menu driven dialog of Dragon Age Origins vs the wheel driven “protagonist says something entirely different than you thought they would” of the successors. Does CP2077 have voice acting?
What the hell are those shoulder pads? I thought WoW had it bad, but apparently it's some kind of game designers' subconscious desire to have ridiculuous shoulder pads in any game.
