@Sam Eaton-Rosen agreed, being able to carry your base with you is awesome. The traditional way of having a fixed base has it's advantages, like making it more challenging, but it's nice to be able to make full use of your efforts all the time, too.
The bigger your raft is, the easier it is to sneak away from the shark. The shark will patrol the area under your raft. Use this to explore areas safely by waiting for it to be at the other end of your raft when you go exploring. also, stab at it when it opens it's mouth to avoid the bite.
The thing I like about Raft (apart from the multiplayer working really well) is that unlike a lot of survival games, you bring your base with you everywhere you go. This makes it feel really worth spending time customising, decorating and upgrading, instead of just being a place you go back to.
Something tells me Angie would rather be in Sea of Thieves, Subnautica, Farcry, or Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. But in not Dead Island and Pirate's Life...
Raft is a really cool game. I'm almost finishing the 2 chapter and I will have to wait the next update. Pro tip. Sharkheads are really good to make biofuel, so save for later.
