I tried her and her playstyle is so off mine that I can't get anything done.
However when I get better at reading the game and my opponents I will come back to train. This character deserves it. :<
People are reacting to Jack-O now because GG:Strive is making a huge splash. There are more new fans of Strive than there are players of previous GG titles, and a lot more new casual awareness of GG.
I can definitely understand the desire to 'main' a fighting character (or a team of them) regardless of how good you are with them, just because of whatever interests -- I've got a similar feeling for Big Band (Skullgirls) and "Team Hugs and Mewtwo" (Cell, Android 16, Frieza; Dragonball FighterZ)
Guilty Gear characters getting this level of attention seems kinda weird when it's like "Yeah, that's just how they've always been. I-No didn't even wear a shirt in the previous game."
