Before everybody who played Grounded points the cookie crumbles into just 2 small pieces when you try to "mine" it. I know guys, I have also been bamboozled by the oreo size. The same happens with the apple by the way.
Of all the survivals I played, Grounded is by far the most polished if you exclude Minecraft. It plays very close to Valheim, especially the building part, but Grounded has big Microsoft money and it shows. It has no procedural generation but it's not like I'll play it more than once so this single version of the backyard is all I need.
Not everything is perfect tho... I personally won't choose 80's teens as my choice of protagonist. On the other side, I find the buildings made of grass and weed quite charming.
Overall, I recommend it.
