Elder Ring is more of the same, and this is fine.

Do you like Dark Souls / Demon's Souls? The game is like that... from the combat to the aesthetic, it's more of the same... plus a horse.

If this is good or bad depends on how much you enjoy Dark Souls. I believe the fans will be happy and whoever wants something different has plenty to choose outside FROM Software.

I personally am not impressed tho, since I never really got into the Souls series. Maybe I'll try it again someday, who knows. Probably will read a guide if I do that because I did Tomb of Giants blind (literally, I didn't knew about the light source off-hand item) and that was not fun.
