If you flattened the positioning into 2D, you'd have a fairly standard deck-building game.

For people unaware of the game, I'd describe it as a merge of deck-builder card-games (ala 'Slay the Spire', amongst MANY more), and tactical combat games (ala 'Ogre Tactics', 'Final Fantasy Tactics' or more recently, 'Fell Seal', 'Fae Tactics', and a few other games I forgot the name of).
