However I don't like all the new evolutions of old pokemon for evolution's sake. Like Leafeon and Bellossom. Eevee maybe did need to evolve with every single stone, but not into stone-eon. May as well have Fireon and Watereon too. And Bellossom shouldn't come from Gloom. Emo shouldn't be evolvable.

A hideous clownmonster with a shell on it not uglier than a blue turtle? Try again.

They're definitely getting uglier, as I still find the old ones adorable.

Yeah, they are uglier. The problem is that so many of them in the original were based of of real animals. Now that they have ran out of well known animals we have things like this monstrosity on the right.

I just wish that the internal battery on my Gold version didn't die. Kind of hard to nostalgiagasm when it can't save.

I like the leaf one. Finally, a grass-type starter I might not abandon in a ditch.

Pokemon is all about the lolis in the show. Who cares about pokemon #492 and such.

I just point out to people that all the complaints they have about the new Pokemon were exactly the same every time a new generation came out. People stopped whining about those, at any rate.

I think in this case, the opinions on the pokemon are valid. That thing looks like Frankenstein's snowman.

Actually, I'd bet that if you asked a kid *now* which he prefers, Squirtle or that...thing...he'd totally choose Squirtle. If not, he's a dumb kid.
