On second thought, maybe these kind of sarcasm on hot topics are more suited as remarks from Morgan. A theory is that she drew it, and Anne is selling it.
Pyramid, snake oil and a bridge on sale LUL
The most fun part on this is that Anne's paintings actually IS presentable as art, as satire is an important form of art.
Not rally one of those 'Anne moments', doing any honest work, however fraudalent of her to sell it for more.
NFT's and ICO's are the new 90's comic book craze. There is a small chance that you'll be able to get in on the ground floor. But like every craze there is a point where the bubble is going to burst.
NFT have no place, ever.- fungible token yes, non-fungible no. the whole thing is just speculation and hoping some dope will pay you more than you spent on it. The real thing needs to be that if I spend $20 on horse armor, I can sell it for $20 to somebody else, no more, no less
(pt 3) Now imagine Nintendo announces they are going to make virtual Amiibos that you can't get physical versions of, and they cost the same. Nobody would buy because having a physical Amiibo is just better.
(pt 2) that the NFTs do something in any game that is vaguely possibly related to the NFT it would give them value, like discontinued Amiibos have value. Except less because there is no physical object and real collectors want to touch their possessions.
There is a way to make NFTs meaningful and desirable in gaming, but a developer can't do it. You need a huge committed producer to make it work. Nintendo already created the prototype for it actually. If NFTs were made like Amiibos and the company behind the NFTs demanded (part 1)
"I am not saying there is absolutely no use ever for NFTs ever" is something someone who doesn't know NFTs would say. After you watch Dan Olson's essay "Line Goes Up - The Problem with NFTs" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ_xWvX1n9g you'll be sure they have no value whatsoever. :P
