Even my home has a motion sensor that can detect me if I get anywhere close to a hall but videogames are still stuck with laser sensors and cameras with a tiny field of view like fish-eye lenses are an alien concept.

And I know this would make the gameplay difficulty but it's future, give my character invisibility or remote hacking. It's weird the near future is using technology that is outdated even by today's standards.
