I played TW3 day 1. And even with the bugs here and there, I really enjoyed the game, it was a great experience.
I played CP2077 day 1. And even if I forget the bugs here and there, I was heavely disappointed by the results. I found it very boring. Finished it, and never launched it again since.
Cyberpunk 2077 was fixed over the first year it was out. All the game-breaking bugs are gone, most of the other bugs are fixed, and the game plays great. Guess what? The Witcher games were exactly the same pattern. Initial release buggy/bad, a year of fixing, game very good now.
It may have been buggy and not well balanced just after launch. But I played it trough this year for the first time and did not encounter any significant bugs. Like, seriously. It is an amazing and very well polished game at this point.
Morgan, your position as 'fun police' has been noted. Yes, No Man's Sky hurt you, but by all accounts Cyberpunk 2077's problems were fixed after release, sod off, you are worst girl.
I'm currently going through the basic Cyberpunk 2077 game and, quite honestly, I've enjoyed myself so far (just reached act3). There is a good enough variety of builds and playstyles, the story is interesting and the world they created is fun. It probably helps that I came in expecting very little.
