Problem is every one wants to have the next big esport. Considering Blizzard all ready had StarCraft, StarCraft 2, Warcraft 2 and Warcraft 3. I think they should have gone for a long term plan, And not dump Overwatch in favor of Overwatch 2.

I mean, that's the trouble with esports: They're never going to be as big as people think they will be. Sports need years upon years to get "popular" and thus rake in the big bucks. And video games lack those years due to technological evolution and its focus on drawing people's attention first.
