Well, Bethesda finally find the answer to "How to sale Skyrim again?"

I'd argue that Skyrim did the open world/exploration thing better. I know it's the same debate of FFXIV vs WoW, as in instanced areas VS true open world, but there's way too many instancing in Starfield for my liking.

Skyrim has the best meme potential of all TES games and for its time it had pretty nice visuals and style. Starfield is nothing special in terms of style and compared to its main competitor (BG3) it is not really memorable. It lacks character.

I dunno... Skyrim doesn't swan about with pretentiousness, pretending like large open areas devoid of anything are acceptable because 'there wasn't anything on the moon, but they didn't find it boring' and the most bland storytelling imaginable. Skyrim survived for over a decade, but-
