No matter who you are and what you look like, someone out there is willing to put in the effort (or pay someone else to do so) to have porn of you. You're just not successful/famous enough if you haven't reached them yet.

@Meowcate I think it is the other way around, they will make porn if they like your game. Even if the character is a bean or a circle. The characters being fat or ugly never stopped people. There is surprisingly a bunch of Pizza Tower porn as well.

So the lesson to attract more players is like in Field of Dreams : "Make porn, and they will come".

I will always remember that random post I saw about how a media's popularity can be seen in how much R34 they had. The example was Raid Shadow Legends with 90 entries, while Fall Guys, a game where characters are just beans, have +400 entries.

Unattractive characters can be fine. A out of shape guy with stubble cheap sunglasses dressed up in a cheap sailor moon outfit can be incredibly successful.

No one wants to play as their neighbour dressed up in expensive generic sci-fi cosplay.

Gamers when they see someone who doesn’t like a supermodel or an anime girl:
