Do I believe Marvel Rivals is copying Overwatch? Yes, but I also think at this point, Overwatch has so many heroes with so many abilities you ARE going to copy it, like it or not.

Your character have a leap? Winston copy. Grappling hook? Widow copy. Slash-dash? Genji copy. Blink? Tracer copy. Web-swing? Hammond copy.

Also, historically, video games always copied each other. The arcade version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is 4-players Double Dragon. Dragon Quest is Japanese Wizardry, and I am sure every platformer copies Mario to some degree.

So unless the game is a 1:1 imitation, the whole copycat thing is silly.
