The reason this doesn't quite work for me is because you can never quite tell if the person on the mic is a girl or a young boy.

There is something in the way the grey-haired chick is drawn that speaks quality. She's not semi-flat like most characters Jo draws. Can't really put a finger on it (her hair, most likely, or maybe the face) but there is a noticeable difference. I'd like to see more characters drawn like her.
