Yeahh Team Fortress 2 died to me like a year ago and unfortunately I'm not a fan of Trade Hatress

I made 400 of selling an unusual I got through about a months worth of trading. I'm just a highschool student who couldn't get a job yet so it wasn't so bad.

Just goes to show the current state TF2 is in really.

I used to admire the art style, but with all of the damn silly accessories and hats it looks awful now. And to have the same options as everyone else you're essentially forced into either trading for new weapons or spending money for them.

I'm not seen any "careful" traders around, just people buying Keys for 2ref, selling key for 2.33 ref. It's like ticket sclaping.

Basically you can pay your subscription with in game money. And ofc, you can get yourself some ingame currency by buying some plexes with RL money and selling them in game. Legally, ofc.

This is SO true...I can't even count the number of games I got for zero money because of my trading exploits.
It's time-consuming, yes, but worth it.

There's not a game of TF2 that goes by without people trading instead of playing, and pissing off us old people. At least it makes them easier to kill.

Basically, the Guardian Cubs are legalized Gold Buying from Blizzard. Blizzard doesn't want to directly sell you gold from their stores, but buying an item that can potentially sell for a lot of gold is alright.

Its a very quick way to combat Gold Farming, and they will probably make more...

Well, that may be your opinion, but personally, I received an awesome trade last week: all 9 of the Haunted Halloween Masks for some Halloween Costume parts, 1 scrap metal, and 1 reclaimed metal. Was able to get the Saxton Hale Achievement easily, without having to try to find all 9 masks by myself.

Bit late but it turns out you can get the steam overlay in BF3 by adding origin as a non steam game! No more steam messages I cant read in game! ^^

I think I'll just wait until the OASIS comes out before I start trying to amass a virtual fortune.

The most expensive TF2 hat that was sold was a Burning Tyrant Helm which sold for $1,500 in cash. The second and third expensive were a Burning Kabuto/Burning Team Captain which sold for well over $1,000. For some reason people see Burning Unusuals as a goldmine.
