I'd be happy if they removed the 'run around in the grass' mechanic from Pokemon and move on to something new. Something like Dragon Quest 9 perhaps, where all the enemies wander around on the map, chasing you or fleeing depending on how tough you were.

Little did pikachu know, but before the mower came, a trainer came along and enslaved his wife and child, capturing them in pokeballs.

While I do often have to scrape frogs out of the mower ... I have to say it would be quite an achievement to (1) Out run, (2) Actually hit them, (3) not be electrocuted and (4) not notice the sound of something being minced (aforementioned frogs make a hell of a noise) ...

Todays comic had me thinking a bit till I actually got it. The other thoughts on the way were quite disturbing.
