I agree with Duffers and the rest concerning that Sniper is just enjoying the moment.  It sounds like in the zen parable here, with danger above and below.

I think he realizes he's going to die and wants to live out the rest of his time in a happy state of mind

i think there should be a new game like warhammer or spore...

i bet he is gonna get sniped by the female sniper before the pyro can kill
