@That guy: Dunno about the other two, but Wario has always been distinctly different from Mario. Slower, less agile, more powerfull. Heck, his second game was built around him being pretty much invincible to permanent damage, but not to temporary effects.

it's not that Microsoft is ripping off Apple; the problem is that Microsoft is making two seperate objectively pretty lousy tablets and billing them as "the Ipad killer", while simultaneously crippling their flagship product in a desperate bid to resurrect a failed smartphone OS for no good reason.

Out of the other tablets I have yet to see one that is both "easy" like an iPad but allowing more user freedom. If MS can do that with the Surface and it's extensions to their ecosystem they could be the Dynabook. I'm not sure they can, this is move they should have made back in WinPhone7.

The iPad sold because the iPhone/iPod Touch sold. Those sold because they were easier for non-techies to work with then other smart phones of the time. You want to see the vision that spawned tablets? Go look up Alan Kay and the Dynabook. The iPad is not the Dynabook, partly because of the lock down

Why do people care? It's another tablet, it's not like the iPad was the only one until now. ACER, Achros, Asus, Camangi, Dell, HTC, LG, Motorola, Pearl, Samsung, Silder, Smartbook, Sony... All of those already built tablets. Asus even had the same detachable keyboard the Surface has.

There's two things I get from this comic, you're either saying that they are the Rival or a bad clone.

Tbh Apple is not the inventor of tablet, that thing exist long before iPad and quite pricey. iPad sold because it's a shiny new thing for people with short attention span.

Wario is for sure the best so it is kinda sad to see him promote whatever this product is and compared to the other inferior spinoff guys.

It happens,companies either buy ideas off the original developer who can't afford to manufacture and market them and do so themselves or they quickly churn out their own version. Computer technology isn't created all by the same two companies a large part is finding and grabbing ideas with potential
