This ain't an everyday thing and it's not new to nerfnow, fuck the complainers.
The arc is nice, I love the subtle sient narrative and the short and simple arcs.
Specially liking the mix of TF2 in RPG context.
You could do more crossover silly stuff.Doesn't have to make much sense if it's short.

I'm gonna be honest, i don't like these arcs. BUT. I think you should finish it. Take your time doing it.

In the end, you're just in SEGA's skin. They'll always ask for the old one, and when you do, they'll say it isn't right...

To be honest, this is a D&D arc, not a TF2 arc. This being said I'm more than alright with regular comics.

@Phil: Oh, 8-Bit references, it's been a long time without one. Also, liking this arc so much. I'd like these here and there inbetween the steam of standalone strips, and like Jo said, they dont HAVE to be TF2 centric.

Just do two comics a day, hating life and your work more and more each day while slowly killing yourself with the sheer amount of work you do.

No problem.

Yeah, it's nice having a TF2 silent arc again.

Jo, I was a bit skeptic about a whole new arc at first---BL2 has all my love nowadays, rather than TF2---but I'm loving the in-char directions you've spun this tale. Dream on and dream well, Jo: as josusual, you've revealed the gold coins from the mere bricks that I thought were there. Bravo!

What I like about your TF2 arcs is the character development. I'm sure I'm not alone on this.
Mick
I like your TF2 arcs. This arc is not about tf2, though.

Geary

It's less a DnD arc and more a 'generic D20' arc, seeing as Clerics don't wear robes.
Nameless NerfNow Reader
Next time, how about you keep doing regular comics while working on an arc? after you finish all the pages of the arc, post them all at once! I think that what bothers the arc haters is the time it takes to get them finished and you have to wait to see the whole story. That would address that
Neocrasher
It's not so much that we're unhappy about the comic, it's more that it's the people that are unhappy that are the loudest. We will always be the first to signify unhappiness, while not being quite as clear when we are happy with what we have.

I've personally enjoyed this arc however!
Lemur
Don't listen to others. Do whatever you want in your comics. You're growing in drawing and storytelling. If you start to try and please people who only want certain things, you'll never grow. Screw fans, they ruin things by their begging, do what makes you happy, be it tf2 arc, one shots.

It is more compelling as a whole, but during the week it is constructed, it doesn't feel quite as interesting as a regular strip.
Bottom line: I like both, so do what you want, but in the end it is probably best to rotate between arcs and regular as you do.
Arcornot
Well, there is an intrinsic default of arcs: When you do regular strips, I check it out and laugh at the daily comic. With arcs on the other hand, even when very good, they tend to "leave one on their hunger" until theyare finished: I am much more likely to reread an arc than daily comics, because

Its more of a D&D comic than a TF2 comic, but I am ok with that as I also like D&D.

I'm not a lover of the "unspoken plot". The 4 images seem unconnected, and it hurts the story as a whole.

You're stuck with it now I guess, but having Engie narrating would have enriched the arc, -~in my opinion of course~-
Antho
Not that I don't like this arc, but it's not really a TF2 arc. I definatly did not see you making an arc about DnD...
Ias
"And now I'm doing a TF2 arc people want regular comics."
Well you know how it is, the people who likes arcs are quiet now and people who dont are crying for regular comics. You can only fix that by doing 2 comics at the same time :)

Zecrag
Well, it's impossible to please everybody... So do whatever you want (eh... If you want to do a gag a day, don't forget to finish this arc first, nothing is worse then a half-arc)

Btw, love the TF2/D&D/Final Fantasy mix :D

I like this arc. It are fun and funny. I think some people just have really bad ADD and can't stand to let a story play out. I know I'd like to read the whole thing right now too,but these things take time and I find the arcs to be the best of your comics.
AckAckAck
Just do what you want. We will never please anyone. Just look at complainer and whiner at youtube comment section. If you look at the like dislike bar you can see that like bars are mostly way bigger than dislike. So they simply loud and childish minority.
TK
Do what you want. If you follow the people screaming it will end up ruining it for everyone. This has happened to a lot of webcomics (and other artistic franchises)
Lord of the dance
I'm quite enjoying the D&D TF2 crossover, how each class is in their respects, playing their class. The demoknight pun is pretty clever too.
Shareazu
but ya can never please everyone, so just do whatever you want, it's your comic afterall!... i personally like D&D and TF2, so i did like this rather unusual mix with 'em both.

keep up the awesome work, Jo!
Shareazu
i guess that, when making arcs, if you plan to please as many people as posible, you gotta give 'em something they're familiar with. since D&D is not played by much people these days, people often don't get the references. same thing goes for Dota2, many people don't play it.

The ScoutGobling is raping Sniper Ear in panel 1 XD
Miguel
Also, without the beginning two comics, this could be a final fantasy arc as well, since you're using their black/white mage outfits. It's all a bit muddled for my tastes. But keep on it for now! I'm sure this'll be neat-o in the end.
Miguel
I've just got to say, this arc is slightly less entertaining than the usual TF2 ones. The other ones had like, one joke a comic usually (Or at least intrigue.) This is just the average friday night D&D with TF2 characters.
Forget the whiners
I love both the arcs and the regular comics. If it really bothers you that people whine for one or another, why not alternate daily? Otherwise, just do whatever you want, everyone will still love you unless it's, like, an abortion comic or something.
Dadhame
Hey Jo, just keep doing whatever the heck you wana do.
I enjoy both arcs and "regular" comics so i honestly dont care, just keep going!
Grim
The problem isn't we want something else, the problem is we wanted a TF2 arc and you're essentially giving us a dungeons and dragons arc with TF2 characters thrown in. Kinda feels like a cop out and there isn't really anything in this arc that is too interesting, maybe because I don't play DnD.
Massive faggot

Ten-Elements

Yo, I love these arcs! The mix of arcs and strips keeps things interesting, and how these arcs play out keeps me coming back to your comic every day. Don't be discouraged! Also, Yay D&D! It is always only a matter of time before a gamer comic pulls this one out, and its always great when it does.

I think I would be enjoying this arc much more if I understood D&D more. Alas, 'tis not meant to be.

I kinda wish you'd continued on with one of the previous TF2 arcs. Such as Sniper-tan cheating on Pyro, etc.

They're still complaining to you even as you give them what you want?

Assholes, this strip is FREE. You are not forced to read this. If you don't like where it is going despite Jo fulfilling COUNTLESS reader requests, then just get the fuck out of here.
Xavi
It might be related to the arc being "mute". You are asking a bit too much patience from the reader, who comes here for just a laugh (at least I do).
The problem with requests
Is that they are made by those who wants something different from what is avaliable. Therefor you will always see requests shift depending on what is served. Especially so if you have 2 options which are mutually exclusive.
Bindal
Well, the problem of "Arc VS daily" can be solved easily: Do both.
Yesterday came a regular, today comes another part of the Arc. So, tomorrow a regular again and so on and so forth.
