A bit of context.
I feel bad sometimes for people who play on consoles. A properly setup PC offer all advantages without most of the hassles. Loading times alone prevent me to play outside my PC and I imagine all console gamers are zen master by being able to suffer through it.
Sure, PC have their own share of problems but I much prefer the risk of a virus and the odd crash than deal with Xbox Live customer service. Price may or may not be an issue but I feel console players end up paying more in the long run.
It looks like the next Xbox may require you to be always online, probably to try to prevent piracy. If Diablo III and SimCity teach me something, it's to steer away from always-online requirement.
I miss the times where I could just put a cartridge on my console, switch it on and just play it.
