Oh just noticed NerfNow is part of hiveworks now. Pretty cool! I've find many cool webcomics in the past this way ^^

i wouldn't say bg1 is wrong game to start. just consider it prelude. It lets you get used to your character learn stuff before in bg2 it tends to get pretty complex fights.
Can't wait to see some bg comics!

Honestly, if you're playing BG1 you've got the wrong game. Good, but not great. It's got pacing and flow issues, a bad endgame difficulty curve, and it lacks character depth. BG2 fixes all the problems that BG1 had, and is the best video game made to date. It's the one that gets all praise.
@Nerf NOW!!: No problem man, like i said, the game is still quite enjoyable, even if ye don't romance anyone... the story is great, the character interactions too... may you have a good game!
@Shareazu: No, I want to experience the "pure" BG experience, I may even write about it later. If the game don't allow orcs to love (or be loved) I'd roll with it.
@Nerf NOW!!: sad but true. i, too, created an half-orc, and only found out about it later in the game. Still, the game's great, despite the romances. if you're looking for a full-experience though, i'd recommend getting one. there are mods that remove the racial requirements. look for 'bg2 tweaks'.
Also, there are no romances in BG1 (except in the enhanced edition, where there are 3 romanceable characters), but in BG2, there are 3 for male characters, and 1 for females (or 5 for males and 4 for females, in enhanced edition). its not the most important aspect of the game, but it does add much.
@Nerf NOW!!: Jo, i personally don't recommend playing as a half-orc... it's just that the vanilla romance options (at least, from the original BG, not the enhanced edition ones) DON'T ROMANCE half-orcs, they just accept human, half-elves and elves (2 of the 3 accept elves; one does not). just sayin'
@Flashburn: I'm not playing BG exactly for the exciting fighting system. Also, I have a party right? I just picked a class which I wanted to play, and a wizard-hating half-orc sounds fun. If I wanted to min-max I'd pick Wizard.

@Nerf NOW!!
No, WS is still the same. Inquisitor paladins are better at WS's jobs though so that might be something to think about. Have you considered a multiclass instead of straight-up fighter? Point-and-click gets boring eventually.
@Flashburn: I'm playing the enhanced edition, dunno if its rebalanced or not. It's still early so I can always go Kensai or plain warrior if needed.

>Choosing Wizard Slayer
It's like you WANT to suffer. Unless you're using Wizard Slayer Rebalancing, then they're pretty cool.

Hello everyone just thought I'd let you know about Miss Engie's progress. She's currently in the spa getting a massage. Since the Sentry fiasco we haven't had any trouble. She only had an twitch in her eye when another patient talking about Slenderman said the word Tentacle. I'm very proud of her.
