@Sam Measa: They do more than Sony and Microsoft. Look at PS4 and (to a lesser extent) Xbox One; they're just inferior PCs. Nintendo is the only company that actually tries to be different anymore. The simple fact is that if I wanted to play something that's like a PC, I'd just play a PC.
@raven0ak:
All Nintendo seems to do is new controllers.
If they really wanted to innovate the next console would be competing with the Oculus, instead of the PS3 and Xbox 360. Face it they are so far behind tech wise its not funny.

would be sad day if Nintendo quit hardware...they still are innovators on field... most console or gaming related controller vice been first hand by Nintendo lately and to add they were ones of first to actually attempt VR goggles (virtualboy) for gaming
@bg: Last comment for now. Blur is great indeed, but it's virtually impossible after the 3rd section. Way too cheap computer.
@Craven Nastravi: Oh, and one more thing, classic games only appeal to people who live way too much in the past, while Nintendo has the largest fanbase like that, it wouldn't be enough to sustain sales on it's own. And they don't have full xcompatibility, more than PS3-Vita for sure, but not all.
@Craven Nastravi: The motion controllers were what made Wii sell so well. When you think of epic games the Wii had they weren't much. Muramasa (now ported to Vita), Mad World, No More Heroes (now ported to PS3), Trauma Team, etc. There were others but i can't remember now.
@European_Fox This is why I hate racing games too, but mario kart is a fun racer, not a regular racing game. With the items and course hazards it's increadible fun and has a lot of action.
@Hyperstar96: Hey, that's my definition of Nintendists, how did you knew it?

However, Zachary claiming that From Software doesn't care about their PC market is false. The fact that they did improve so drastically between two games shows that they do. They're just not quite at the level of making great ports (yet.)

An awesome port? Hardly. Sure, it's worlds better than the original Dark Souls PC port, but that was an extremely low bar to be surpassed in the first place. When you stop comparing it to DS1 PC, it's a satisfactory-at-best port (substandard texture+modeling, K+M issues, interface issues).

@Serathis: You're so wrong dude. Look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnLAw8cTXKw. From did awesome job with making Dark Souls 2 PC version.
@Zacharial: The Dark Souls 2 being made for PC is a blatant lie. Apparently From Software just cant give a flying duck about PC.
@European_Fox: Great idea! I'll just go and download a perfectly working Wii U emulator, followed by a legal ISO, and play it on my PC that's compatible with a GamePad (one that, in this parallel world, can be purchased separately from the console) and connects to MiiVerse!
You're an idiot.
@Lokiallen: Agreed. Yahtzee realized that PC users being obnoxious and he sarcastically calling them that. Unfortunately sarcasm is dead in "super serious PC gamers" brain. Console and PC got their own place in the market.
Just use an emulator if you want to play Nintendo games -_- ...
Anyway, it's just another racing game and I fucking HATE racing games. Fuck your running around in circles, I'm gonna go shoot stuff!

Bundle is quite kickass tho.
$320 for Console + Mario Kart + Wheel & Wiimote Plus + Free Downloadable Game(Wonderful 101 or Pikmin 3 are the best choices, New Super Mario Bros. U is a close second, don't consider Wii U Party U). Take the dive, PC+Wii U+3DS is life!!!
@Serathis: Mods are all well and good for open world games and the like, but not every game supports modding, is easy to mod, or has a group of dedicated fans who are willing to mod the shit out of it.
I was considering the idea of Nintendo going full-Steam à la SEGA and I, as a member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race, was pleased.
Soon after, I envisioned them following the path of Rare Ltd. under MicroSoft's yoke, and then I wasn't pleased anymore.

Sorry Jo, but I must agree with Victor Lozano: Awesome Nintendo games are awesome Nintendo games.
The glorious PC gaming masterrace will not give in to consoles. No extra fees for online multiplayer, no 30 FPS, no crappy texture resolution, 65° FOVs and weapon models blocking half the screen. Yes modding (INFINITE FREE CONTENT), M+K and non shovelware indies!

@Kilgore Trout: Haha, fair enough! I was pretty salty at the time I typed that. Guess I'm just sick of this pointless topic, and I wish people could unite under the "Hey, we all play video games" banner, rather than the "My platform is better than yours" banner. PC gamers are prone to the latter.
yeah, Nintendo really should quit console business. Im tired of their overpriced outdated hardware and useless gimmicks.
Yeah, everyone saying that you need 3DS, but those faggots are not part of PC masturd race. They want you to play on 400x240 screen which is impossible after 3840x2160 on PC.
Buy a 3DS. It's cheap and the Mario Kart is just fine on it.

Next Car Game. I'll take that over Mario Cart ... especially after someone mods in a "Mario Cart" feature to add in power-ups to launch those giant marble balls of death as a Turtle Shell in a race/derby.
I don't know if anyone noticed, but Tenta-Jo "shaved" his suction-eyebrows...
Either that, or he has left his own avatar out of comics for SO long, he forgot his real eyes were the second row of suctions

@Raxyz: you do realize the wiis failure was solely due to the motion controlls......if it wasnt for them it would of been a huuuge success especially with the full catalog cross compatibility and digital download classics/original titles

Nintendo will never stop. I play on consoles, handhelds, and PC. In the end, I really don't care about the platforms themselves; I just play whatever I feel like at the time.
I'm still waiting for the day people realize when Yahtzee coined "PC Master Race," he was being incredibly sarcastic...
Oh! I'm with you. Nintendo out of HW business it's best for everyone, well, except diehard nintendists, XD. Seriously though, let them keep the DS and people'll hardly miss Wiis.
There are always emulators. There is always a way.
Fuck the market economy, far as I'm concerned. If piracy destroys gaming, so be it. The teenaged horde might be forced to think for a change.
yeah, i too don't want nintendo to quit, it'd be a great loss to the gaming industry... also, i believe nintendo is one of the only companies that has guts to try new things, these days... glorious as it is, the pc still suffers some limitations due to it's traditional 'controls' (mouse + keyboard).
Oy, I hope that Nintendo does't go the way of SEGA. If they do, that means that their games have degraded to the point where people won't buy their systems any more (i.e. Mario going the way of Sonic (terribly)).

Nintendo doesn't quit, if they quit they break up. Even Sony has stated they'd be sad if Nintendo quit the hardware business. (Or quit in general)

You know, SEGA All Stars Racing Transformed is pretty fun as well and cheap.
you know that has always bothered me, that PC users are somehow better then people who play on consoles. If i remember correctly the last person that said that their race was the master race is now dead and tried the mass genocide of a certain race. Some people on the internet feel the same way.
Ive seen thee price estimates in Brazil, their pretty insane.
Still, if you got the console, you could buy the games online via the virtual shop, so perhaps you could try getting an import? Should be cheaper
