Its your call jo; personally, i don't usually like dota arcs much, because i don't play the game, but it's YOUR website, so feel free to draw about what you want.
However, even though i don't play it, i did like the last dota arc, so i guess it kinda depends on the quality of the arc per se.
I don't mind what the arcs are about, as long as they are interesting to read. The last arc was depressingly boring and made me avoid this comic for weeks.
As always, there are complains about "too much dota" even thou its playerbase is huge and the last strips been about TF2. Bottom point: I'll write about the games I play and I been playing DOTA.
While I'd like more TF2 strips as well, you really can't argue that there aren't enough people interested in Dota 2 to justify it. See, while Dota may not be for everybody, it is still THE MOST-PLAYED GAME ON STEAM. Look at these numbers:
Quit your bitching people, he always did tons of strips of TF2 and before that it was SC which was how I originally found NerfNow. All his strips tend to be niche for those that actually know what's going on in those games
...and if someone says "You got 5 TF2 strips in last month!" I'll choke a bitch. This year (from Feb-1-2014 up to now) there was 51 DOTA strips vs. 7 (SEVEN!) TF2 strips.
Yay, another arc!
... Oh, it's more Dota. I'll be back in a few weeks.
There's no way for me to say that without sounding like an entitled asshole, but I did my best. A good chunk of this site just isn't interested in Dota, and it feels like Nerf Now has been turning into a Dota-only comic.
The problem isn't doing the arcs, its doing dota all the time, it's a polarizing game and I understand that you like to do art on things that inspire you, but it seems like half the site doesn't play dota. Also: The last TF2 arc wasn't a TF2 arc. It was a DnD arc with TF2 faces. Real TF2 arc plz.
