This image is far to low on the headcrab and pancake quantity to be MNC related. I bet you didn't even get an uber streak nerd. Reported for fake and gay.
I actually loved smnc, It was the first moba-style game that I played. But sadly no one is playing anymore, it was a pretty good game with a unique gameplay at the time.

@Kinesis: The MNC games were NOT the first games that those developers made. Their pedigree, especially with RTSs goes back a long way. (Nearly all of them worked on TA and Supcom) So I trust them without hesitation, and from what I've played of PA, my trust is not misplaced.
@Hyperstar96: It's kind of stupid to generalize people because they have a similar taste in something. Kind of - "saying all male christians fuck 12 year old boys" - stupid. I'm not christian but I wanted to point out you generalizing people doesn't make you a better person, pretty much just as bad.
Wow, ok, this is so weird. I literally JUST re-installed SMNC and started playing it again, cuz i was getting bored with DOTA

@Sylvester Ink: Also on the topic of Planetary Annihilation I can not trust Uber with the IP given its incompetence with (super)/MNC. 2 good games both destroyed by Ubers inability to 1: listen to its community (they damn well ignored the steam forums) and 2: Actually do something about balance.

MNC (original) was a good game but plagued by Uber's incompetence (later proven by super MNC). The IP was great, the idea was great, the execution was horrible as the characters were unbalanced, there were many know exploits that were never fixed and the old pro players would discourage new players.
MNC wasn't that good actually. I've played for some time, before i even began playing TF2. It was fun for the coop missions, but it was terribly unfair, MP was terribly unbalanced, therefore easily exploitable.
I have no idea what this is but I am not going to write a 1000 page essay why it's horrible. (sound familiar, dota 2 haters?)

... which is why MNC was similar to TF2. Assassin class and demolition guy gets favoritisms and are quite overpowered . Demoman sticky nades weren't the problem, regular gun was (lol shoot and forget lelelelel)

MNC was indeed fun, but the balancing was bad and they did little to adress it. The assassin class could 1 hit from stealth even the more tanky class WITH the gold health upgrade. Hell, the animation was not interruptable (in practice it wasn't, lags..).
The soldier could spam explosives 24/7too

its bad that the only reason I played SMNC was to get the two hats for TF2...then I realized "holy...tying something to TF2 will bring players for hats, but those players will just leave once they get their hats really gutting the community fast"

(continued from below) Fortunately, they're currently making Planetary Annihilation, which looks to be absolutely fantastic. They definitely want to return to the MNC world, so once they finish with PA, I'm sure there is an MNC2 in the future.

(continued from below) while SMNC never gained enough players to financially support the game. As a result, neither game really reached the finished state that was planned. (The devs have posted several blogs on this.) (continued)

SMNC was my gateway into Dota 2, somehow. It really was a brilliant idea for a game, but there were some inconsistencies. However, a lot of these can be blamed on the troubled development of the two games. MNC was gimped by the restrictions MS had for XBox releases, (continued...)

The community of mnc was the most split i'd ever seen; half the players would bitch and rage at the slightest fuckup or unintentional feeding and the other half would always give an honest gg at the end of each game

MNC was fun. Good cheesy mix of TF2 and MOBA. SMNC shoved the MOBA down everyone's throats and it became no fun. I miss riding the chicken.
This game got a LOT of problems since the beginning.
1. Bad advertising made people think it's TF2 clone than A-RTS.
2. The gameplay was crap in the beginning.
3. It started in 360.
In the end Pit Stop girl is the only good thing came out from that game.

I played MNC all the time because of how fun it was, but then SMNC went to PC and my PC sucks. Normally its the filthy consoles ruining the PC Master Race's games, but here it was the opposite.
I thought about trying that game out when I first heard of it, but got distracted by other games before I could. At this point it would just be another addition to a backlog that I think is already too big.
Super Monday Night Combat was a pretty bad game, IMO. The mechanics were extremely favoring curbstomps, especially with the wave-clear that appears in the center.
Ahhh MNC, I know the point of that game was to be a bit like DOTA, problem was the fact the balance was VERY off, to finish I do believe Pit-Girl is just a big whore, in one of the trailer she flirts with Assault then she goes for Tank when he beats the latter. I preferred Assassin.
