I think you might actually be an idiot European_Fox. Pro gamer is possibly the world's most sought-after job, if they were lazy they wouldn't be able to do it, somebody else with more drive would replace them. I've also never heard of a visa denied to a pro because they didn't finish high school.
@A5PECT: To explain, the fgc (Fighting Game Community) streamer Spooky would end his streams by "setting the stream monsters free" with the clip, which appears to have been picked up by some of the Dota streams.

@Lode So how do professional Counterstrike events compare to professional DotA events? The former aren't wrought with technical issues and their participants are generally more punctual and consistent?

To answer your question, Counter-Strike has been played competitivly for a LOOOOOOONG time, Jo. And I'm not just talking about Global Offensive, I'm talking about all the way back to CS 1.6.

Regarding the free square:
It's a scene from the movie Riki-Oh. Think Plan 9 from Outer Space, but as a Hong Kong martial arts film.
Not sure if it has anything to do with professional DotA, or if Jo threw it in just for fun.
What do you expect?
Most of these "professional players" got into the competitive scene because they are procrastinators, losers and social inepts with nothing else going for them.
Can't expect a bunch of manchildren to be punctual or serious with anything they do in their life.
3-4: a standin is when one of the normal team members can't play and another player stands in for him
4-4: bans are v. rare, Arrow were banned, and recently Cloud9 were banned for pulling out of a tournament with little notice, but that was revoked
5: hype casting youtube.com/watch?v=m4EzbU5mhlg
2-4: http://www.joindota.com/en/news/10165-solo-out-of-rox-kis
Recently there was a bigger match throwing scandal than even that one involving the team Arrow gaming, and one of the first news sites to break the news used the term "322" instead of "match fixing", so it's entered common parlance.

1-1: matches might need to be remade if somebody can't connect, they need to play on a different server, or there is a bug (that one is rare)
1-4: pipe is good, but nobody seems to make it recently
1-5: visa to enter another country for a lan final

3-4: What's a Stand-in? It's like "randon picked player" or something?
4-4: What a team must do to be banned...
5-all save 5: Pro teams? Yeah, no clue. Move along.
That's all of them. Thanks in advance.

1-5: Visa problems? The same credit-card Visa? How can be a problem?
2-2/2-3: Okay, I think that I get offense here. I get the joke, but Jiggypuff is one of my favourite characters in SSB. To have a laugh, anyway...
2-4: Got it. but... Someone ACTUALLY bet 322$ or I got it wrong?

Wow, nice. I don't get the half of it, but the inherent joke is sooo delicioulsly snide...
Still, some help understanding the panels? (1Top-1Left)
1-1: Remade? How so, it wasn't optimal to their tastes?
1-4: Is that bad the pipe? Smoking in pipe is cool(to those who like smoking anyway).
Assuming that it's based off of matches seen in 2014, I can say I've literally seen every single one of these as long as you interpret 3-22 ironically or literally in kills. I did read about arrow doing a real 322.
For those who don't know what 322 is: A reference to a pro throwing for $322.
I'd love to 'play' this, but I'm not sure how to fulfil the bottom row. Do we simply wait for Sylar to die any time, Liquid to get a new team and then win any match, Burning to be the only player alive on his team, and a team wipe (for all dead)?
@Twilightdusk: Google it on youtube, it's from the TI3 match LGD.cn vs Team Liquid (And now used in the intro to their casts).
@Arras: It's a movie reference. Sorry, it's a obscure joke but if you follow the Street Fighter scene you may know what this one is about. (google "you are free now" :)
@LoSpettroItaliano: Usually, you don't have to fill the center square on a bingo board, which means you only need 4 squares in that row/column, essentially giving you a free square. As to what the picture is... no idea. It looks like a movie reference?

And if you are really, really lucky, you can expect to see Techies picked like in VG-IG yesterday :D
the last line is kinda free, if youre watching beyond the summit as it is in the intro :) also i would consider it really cool if you could include something like a dota-tan, at least as a reocuring character. the f2 tans are really nice people but i would love to see what you can do with dota heros
