Except Jason is an incredibly deadly character and is dangerous as all fuck. No, I don't mean canonically. I mean in the actual game he's really, REALLY dangerous. Chewing off a third of your opponent's health bar using simply combos that don't require meter is just nasty.
With that logic Predator is much better character.
To be honest I think that characters like that doesn't really fit into MK. It was awesome to play as Predator in AvP for example, because it made perfect sense, but here it's weird
Jason's not as flashy as other MK characters, but that's part of his character. He's not a superpowered psycho or some such nonsense, he's just a monster. Things have to die, and he's the perfect man for the job of making something die. Making something feel excess agony just isn't his shtick.
Daw, look at Sub-Zero with his little Reptile ventriloquist dummy head... He made it so lifelike!
On topic though, I have to agree. Jason's much more at home in a claustrophobic cabin somewhere where you can't really see where he's coming from. He's like that shadow in your room as a kid.
