@Mud Mud: Is pretty much is, it innovates on a lot of areas and fixes a lot of the issues with the older HM games but at it's core it's still the same genre.
The games were fun in the past, and they certainly haven't stopped being fun, unless you get overly caught up in superficial nonsense.
Still not seeing anything about this game that doesn't just look like "Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons game from a decade or so in the past", to be honest.
@Bart Stabwound: "Classy" is not the word I'd use to describe a lazy leech and the town bicycle. Though your admission of personal inadequacy is somewhat funny you might want to refrain from projecting it on the rest of us.
Haley is great. Not all of us want to try to get with the girl we could actually get in really life. Some of us realize it is a fictional world, where our character is hot, so we can totally get that classically hot chick.
So after such hype i tried the game. Played for 20minutes and uninstalled it. Holy crap what a boring game. I live on a farm so that might be a problem. I hate my job and i want to get an office job one day. Could anyone explain to me what is the hype about?
Man, that girl. You just give her a gift, and her hair is down, her dress starts to slide off her shoulders - and she didn't even look inside the box yet! What a depressing place she lives in.
@NekoiNemo: Abigail is a close second place. Adorable gamer that eats minerals is cute, but she's no Leah. Leah is clearly best grill. Picking Haley like Jo is apparently doing... that's just wrong. Better Dr. McPedomustache than Judgmental Bitchface.
I'd hardly call it a 'dating sim', since there's not really any dating simulated.
Rune Factory has a simplistic dating sim on the side, most importantly with having unique 'storylines' for each girl, and you can max them with just talking to them daily.
This is just 'give people stuff'sim
@Joao Batista Perin Junior: It's the exact same system as in every harvest moon, you can either sell your produce for money or give it to villagers for friendship and they'll give you stuff back as well.
My main "gripe" with the game is that I'm out of things to do halfway through the game.
