Rank isn't even related to skill or time spent. For example, if I made a brand new account now I might likely get gold easily. However, my account has all the mmr of when I was a noob, and it drags me down.
Due to how messed up the lowest of the low elo is (even by Bronze V standards), I think it'd be easier to climb by making a smurf account so I could place in Silver and just work up from there. The only thing stopping me is the sheer number of runes and champion diversity. Three seasons wasted.
Alas, i'm with Ahri (the character on this strip) on this one... i'm actually not so sure about high elo in MOBAS being a calm paradise... as far as i know, these guys DO tend to take things seriously, as they've spent much time to get there!
@Frid: As odd as it might seem... Dragon Commander is from the same franchise as Divinity (if i'm thinking of the right game) as much as they're both made by Larian Studies and Dragon Commander does, in fact, have Divinity in the title.
@Julian: 2 different games. Divinity is said to be a good new RPG, Dragon Commander and kind of a hybrid of strategy, arcade and dating simulator. Its fun for about 10-15 hours.

Divinity Dragon Commander?
How is that game? Is it any good, it interests me on aesthetics alone
It's "Halcyon", not "Halycon". And i'm pretty sure it should be "heard *of* diamond rank" in the second panel.
Geez, get some sleep, please don't overwork yourself...
I'll be honest, didn't expect a lol comic on here. Diamond is just one of those things I'll never reach without devoting a portion of my life to, but neither is it something I'll belittle.
