I would guess Jo doesn't know the actual name of the wrenches in the video games they play.
When I saw tiny metal I expected a rock-band equivalent of Baby metal.
I know advanced wars and xcom aren't comparable. It was a joke about those who thinks that two games of the same genera (fps rts etc.) Are automatically comparable.
Anyways, sorry for the pedantry. I'm well aware I might be missing that you've drawn these girls in pinups before getting on to comics. Just fascinating how 'old' some of the characters are in relation to the comic.

This comic introduced Angie as the enemy Engie, with Alek as the friendly Heavy. Soon after to be joined by Anne. (Interesting that she was the most clothed among the bunch, given her attitude now.)
The first character to make an appearance in the comic seems to be Alek:

Angie appeared soon after, but only as a generic girl in a MegaMan comic

Angie the oldest featured character? I decided to peruse the archives, and that may not be technically true. Your first 'character' was Blue Engie, but you've mentioned that character belongs to someone else.
X-Com and Advance wars aren't comparable! Xcom is about squad-based operations, while Advance Wars is about national battles and skirmishes. You capture buildings, gather gold and produce units !during! the fight. Also you get an avatar with a superpower that makes the gameplay very bouncy.
If I had to go on a guess I'd say you've made Angie a more rounded character. Where as the other girls are each a stereo type based on the Males from TF2.
Tiny metal looks cool, but there's already a billion games exactly like it. Japanese devs aren't exactly smart when it comes to fitting an occidental market either.
Looks cool, but there will be better games for sure.
