@CocoaNutCakery: Except in one of Penny's dating events it's revealed she is sleeping with Sam.
There is a lot of illicit relationships and innuendo in the game, things like the Wizard being Abigail's dad, the witch being the Wizard's wife at the time going batshite over it etc.
@Dmitry Solovyov: That's exactly why I can't play "dating sim" style games; I get too wrapped up in the story and cannot purposefully make the wrong decision to finish all the possible endings. It's like, I can handle a sad story, but I don't want to be the guy who makes the story even sadder.
Ah, Stardew Valley, the game where i could not pick my waifu because of Penny's unfair backstory...
Like, srsly, you can't just add character like that in the game like this and expect player to be a heartless bastard which will not pick her.
I started enjoying Stardew Valley way more after I got a mod that made my character's movement speed like 25% faster. Though I guess I robbed myself of the benefit of getting a horse.
Stardew Valley certainly was a breath of fresh air. The other Harvest Moon style game I'd recommend is Rune Factory... Though I still wait for a Rune Factory 5
Stardew Valley looks like Harvest Moon with a pinch of dungeoning. Good thing They didn't go on the "pixelated flash game" route like Undertale or if they did at least they made it well enough to not be so obvious. That said I still like Harvest Moon art style more than this Terraria art style.
Thank you, Jo. I am surprised I never checked after years of reading. You tagged this as TF2, though, and someone else said Stardew Valley. Clarify? I’m worried about checking older comics now in case of accidental mistags.
Jo, may I ask why you don’t have a mere name tag or something to the game you reference in a comic (where applicable)? Some of us don’t follow the vast majority of games released and would probably check them out if we knew what the topic was. For all I know, this could be a new Harvest Moon.
