The two newest characters orisa and moria are not really all that unique or fun. What blizzard needs to do is to stop adding skins and add actually content or else make the game like starcraft and let the players add content.
Finally, adding new characters does nothing for the game because the interesting story is not told through the game. The story that comes with each character adds not a whole lot to the game itself. This would not be an issue if the characters themselves were interesting and fun to play, but
Limits that just further goes to make the game boring and repetitive. A good story is nice and all, but should not be at the expanse of game play. Blizzard is not making a drama or a movie or a novel.
I think the biggest issue with overwatch is a lack of things to do. If you have played one map, you've pretty much played them all. Overwatch only really has one game mode outside of arcade. And even including arcade you don't get to pick what you want to play and often times the arcade mode has
Life is definitely not something you want to speed run. Speed running involves getting to the end as fast as possible. Getting to the end of life is typically considered death. Noooooooo... Life is a game you want to take your time and enjoy thoroughly.
At some point, i thought that adding a new character would be good for TF2, but i dunno... i'm not sure it would be as well-received as the others. I mean, it could work, but they'd have to put their best at it to make a character that wouldn't imbalance the game even more, mechanically and visually
@Jo Pereira, in that sense, it may seem like the system in tf2 is unfriendly to new players, since they won't know how weapons work with one another, but it's better to have a complex system rather than a simple system that makes you just run through the motions multiple times without mixing it up.
@ Jo Pereira, True while the base of the weapons (revolvers, rockets, swords etc.) Leaves much to be desired, at least they put different stats that makes you wonder what weapons should go with what combos, it adds a deeper layer to the game and with a new weapon update comes new possibilities.
@ninetails: I think Overwatch new heroes add more to the game than TF2 new weapons unless you think 3 different flare guns and 5 different swords improved the game a lot.
@Jo Pereira, just because it's there doesn't mean it's good. Overwatch is entering a really competitive market, but the content can't keep up. Moira, for example, is just a blender-mix of other characters, It's not so much that there isn't content, it's just how lack-luster the content is.
gonna be honest, I don't think Overwatch is gonna make it past late 2018/Early 2019. The game just doesn't put out enough worthwhile content to make it worth it to come back and play, at least tf2 finally put out new weapons to mess around with, Overwatch just doesn't release enough for it's fans.
